The sculpture is a radiant portrayal of strength and celebration, crafted in the form of a majestic elephant, symbolising power and grace. The inflated balloon-like design transforms the otherwise colossal and heavy essence of the elephant into an object of lightness and joy, embodying the paradox of balance - where might meets playfulness.

Jayesh Sachdev

Jayesh Sachdev is a multi-hyphenated creator. An artist, designer, TEDx speaker, lecturer at design institutions and creative entrepreneur Jayesh is also the founder of the Multi-Award Winning Fashion & Lifestyle label Quirk Box, and Branding Agency Quirk Box Design Studio. Jayesh holds the National Record for having painted India’s largest concept artwork and continues to practice as an internationally exhibited artist.He has won several awards over a decade and half career, chief among them are the British Council Young Arts Entrepreneurs India, Tiger Translate India Arts Awards and Crow Bar Asia Advertising Awards.His fashion brand Quirk Box has been awarded the Vogue India Fashion Fund Award (RU) and Grazia India Young Fashion Award while his Design Agency has won ‘India’s Best Design Award' in 2020, 2021 and 2022.As an artist, his works are experimental, whimsical and thought-provoking. He has been regularly featured across media (Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Elle, Verve, India Today) and his art-based fashion label has been worn by several celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Amitabh Bacchan, Oscar Winner Guneet Monga, Ranveer Singh amongst a host of others.Jayesh graduated in Visual Communication at Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore.
The artist lives and works out of Mumbai, India.
